Very good to hear a decent discussion about masculinity on @BBCr4today just now. One point made that resonated - too often being male is defined negatively. That’s wrong and also damaging, especially for young men and boys trying to work out who they are and want to be.

Slightly strange Kyiv ritual. Watching my contribution to ⁦ @BBCNews ⁩ this evening, after the event, to see if I made sense. One of the excellent decompressing products of ⁦ @PenderynWhisky ⁩ in the dark flask…

Sad sight in London tonight. Homeless people on the steps of a church, including a man wrapped in a foil blanket. Scandalous housing crisis in this city.

With Ukrainian troops just after they recaptured strategic area west of Kyiv. This nightmarish stretch of road is a crime scene, with evidence of killing by Russians that could amount to war crimes. Coverage all day on @bbcnews @bbcworld @bbcworldservice
