flight. Made it to Chicago 4+ hours after original flight (and will hopefully make it to presentation). I get things happen and are often out of people’s control. But I was really disappointed with the poor communication and generally lack of empathy today.

begin and was told my agent she couldn’t help because she was doing upgrades and couldn’t do two things at once. Told me to go to customer service but did not say where it was and then said I would t make it there and back before boarding ended. So went back to terminal A for.

Made it to gate at 8:47; gate closed at 8:45am. Fine, I get it: rules are rules. Asked to be on next flight out and was told I couldn’t make it to terminal C in under 30 mins. Was booked on later flight. I went to terminal C, got to gate 3 mins before boarding was scheduled to.

I would miss my presentation in Chicago. Was told my agent that I could drive to Newark in 1 hr 40 mins (not possible, esp during rush hour). Made it to security 30 mins before 9am flight was leaving Newark. Explained my situation to security & was told I should have left earlier.

Reposting with edited pics: Having one hell of a day trying to travel with @united. Began last night with two contradictory texts, which made it unclear if my flight was delayed. Checked with United and told it was not. This morning, at 5:15am while at AVP found it was delayed &

my presentation. Was told I could drive to Newark in 1 hr 40 to catch another flight (not possible, especially during rush hour). Made it to Newark 30 mins before 9am flight was departing. Told security my story and was told I “should have left earlier.” Made it to gate 14 mins.
