This. The phrase in work benefits shouldn't exist. For the people who keep yelling scroungers: the actual scroungers are employers and corporations. They are the actual recipients of handouts as WE are supplementing the subpar wages they are paying and helping THEM turn a profit.
For people bad mouthing those on benefits… 40% of the staff I personally work with claim IN WORK benefits!!! Let that sink in!! The person you could be asking to give you CPR instructions till the ambulance arrives does not …..

It’s clear to me listening to Goodall that the only way they can stop the public from seeing all the positives of the Budget is to keep on and on and on about whether Reeves broke a promise not to increase taxes on working people. The Budget is fair and will deliver.
