Recently @ThGreminger spoke at a high-level panel discussion at the 3rd International Scientific Forum on Security & Safety organised by @NAUSS_SA. Speaking on strategic visions & partnerships, he emphasised the need to adapt security strategies to an increasingly complex world.

Hosted a panel discussion on the Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty with Amb @rileyfo @UKMissionGeneva; Viet Tong Trinh, Permanent Mission of 🇻🇳 & Emmanuelle Maître @frs_org to on how NPT supports security & States & IOs can contribute to strengthening it.

At the @dohaforum, Amb @ThGreminger signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Strategic Studies Center of the Qatari Armed Forces. Present at the signing ceremony was Maj Gen Rashid Hamad Al-Nuaimi, Commander of the Center. This MoU deepens our existing good collaboration.

Recently, our Executive Director, Ambassador @ThGreminger met with Mr @MKoplimaa Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Unit of @MFAestonia. They discussed current challenges in European security and insights from the GCSP Track 2 dialogue platforms.

Amb @ThGreminger met with H.E. Yasser Al Jundi, Head of the Diplomatic Institute of @syrianmofaex. They discussed the huge capacity-gaps the new Syrian government faces & how our Centre could help building these capacities to run a functioning & rules-abiding state up again.

We were proud to join this year's Trust Valley Day! Amb @ThGreminger highlighted how @TrustValleyCH has grown into a unique ecosystem. Dr Jean-Marc Rickli moderated a panel on how shifting #geopolitics are reshaping business strategies. Thank you to Trust Valley and all partners!

A lively session on middle powers cast them as emerging coalition-builders. Amb. @ThGreminger called them guardians of core values, while Joshua Lincoln likened the new system to a “neighborhood watch,” replacing great-power policing.

Remarkably, Article 109 (the UN Charter’s mechanism for a full constitutional review) came up. Discussion of revising the UN system, however distant, aligns with Finnish Pres. @alexstubb's recent call in Foreign Affairs for review of global institutions, in order to save them.

Last week, our Executive Director, Amb @ThGreminger met with H.E. Amb Qian Minjian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of @ChinaEmbinCH. They exchanged about the close cooperation of our Centre with China in executive education and promoting dialogue on global security.
