It took more than 200 years for the national debt to hit one trillion. The national debt just increased by one trillion dollars in the past 70 days. There are no brakes on this train. None.

The Constitution doesn’t permit a president to act as the legislature and judiciary on top of being the chief executive. If it’s war, he must go to Congress. If it’s crime, he must go to court. When there’s no imminent danger, there’s no justification for unilateral strikes.

Trump: "I don't think we're necessarily going to ask for a declaration of war, I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them. They're going to be, like dead."

Training Texans for high-demand careers is important, but Prop 1 isn’t the right tool. It creates two permanent constitutional funds ($850 M total) outside the treasury, appropriations process, and spending cap. Once in the Constitution, those dollars flow automatically with

Genuinely scary how many people have become convinced overnight to claim fentanyl comes into the US due to Venezuela, even though Venezuela has basically nothing to do with the entrance of fentanyl into the US, as US Govt reports make clear. Frighteningly easy to sell new wars:
