An open letter to the anti-EV crowd. I drove ICE vehicles for 30 years. I attended car shows. I've modified engines and suspensions. I'm a Mustang Club of America certified national car show judge. I still love classic muscle. I also used to love making mixed music tapes and

Gas car owners are more concerned with charging times than EV owners because they struggle to understand the changes that come with an EV. The empty-to-full mindset does not apply to EVs. Here’s an example of a 5-minute stop. Leaving home fully charged, destination charging, or

Americans do not like being told what to do. It’s a tradition that dates back to 1776. If you want to convince Americans that something is good or worthwhile, mandates, rules, and regulatory market interventions won’t succeed. For example, I purchased a Tesla EV because it’s a

@TechOperator @brianmosher99 @Avalancado I disagree with it. I'm in Houston and routinely visit family in Wisconsin. Can see the trip my sister and I made for my nephews' (twins) graduation in my Charging Passport. Our route up was thru Arkansas and Illinois while our route back was further west as we dropped family

Wrong on so many fronts. I drive a Tesla because it’s simply a better vehicle. The environment has nothing to do with it. I post about it because it’s awesome and I want people to know. I also like to combat the BS spread about EVs as a result of politics on both sides. I
@brianmosher99 @TechOperator It's a religion to them and they are evangelists that feel compelled to convert us unwilling non-EV owners. They aren't content to just revel in their smug superiority but because of so called climate change must convince us of our apostacy.

Going to have to hit a lot of bookmarks from the past few years real soon! Suck it, FSD haters!

@TechOperator Look at how many cars ran the red light (after my light turned green). FSD won't do this.

Caught my wife on the way to put something up in the attic. Me: Can I help with that? Her: Yes, you can hand it to me. Me: Why bother to have a husband if you are not going to use him appropriately? Her: Hands me the item. Mission accomplished. 🫡

Who was driving on 71 from Cincinnati to Columbus yesterday and saw a lot of dead Teslas on the side of the road, as Crimsonkiller21 claims?

So MidWestMexBob says Tesla's FSD is more dangerous than the human drivers responsible for literally tens of thousands of deaths per year in the US alone. What say you?

Don't trust systems like Tesla's Full Self Driving? Each year in the US, tens of thousands of traffic-related deaths are caused by human drivers.
@DMC4277 @TechOperator Because humans have a tendency to not want to die, software on the other hand I do not trust even apps for my browser, let alone driving a vehicle

Not only does FSD work at night, it works at night in the pouring rain.
@wholemars The assumption Jerry makes is that the cameras are NOT capable of seeing in low light better than a human. If a human drives into complete darkness the human is stopping the car. We know the cameras see better in low light.

The vast majority of Tesla haters have never driven one, and that’s all you need to know.

We all have PTSD from test drives at traditional car dealerships, but the Tesla ownership experience is different right from the start. You can book an appointment online for a quick, low-pressure experience. They won’t take your license, ride along, or hold your trade hostage.

Another great message from TXDOT (Texas Department of Transportation). 😂 The sign had a few bulbs out, but you get the idea.

There are a lot of despicable responses to Martha, who was making a great point about manual driving, which kills literally tens of thousands of people a year in the US alone. Drop in the comments and show her some support. 🫶
@CARN0N True manual driving is a lot to process and to safely do.
