It’s astounding how strong the opinions are from many people who have never driven an EV, let alone a Tesla. Get out there and try one yourself; don’t just believe everything you hear.

@TechOperator All these people are finding reasons EVs aren't good. "It's not really green", "Electrical Grid Issues", "Charging time". Which maybe could be argued, but that's not the point, the starting point to an argument is knowledge, if they haven't truly driven/tested an EV, specifically

@TechOperator Well said. When I’m being driven on California freeways by FSD in the cybertruck the ICE vehicles and their drivers seem to be a black and white movie.

@TechOperator I still own two classic 50’s VW’s for purely nostalgic reasons. No way in hell would they be a daily driver. Nor would I ever purchase a gasoline vehicle ever again as they are pure garbage compared to an EV. I will take range anxiety over ICE engine issues all day, every day…

@TechOperator I'm a boomer. Was an airline pilot, aircraft mechanic, blue collar for 10 years but have graduate degree, not an "environmentalist", always voted "R". But the technology is so compelling and I was tired of being best friends with my auto mechanic. And I love charging at home.

@TechOperator I fell out of love with what the motor industry was making about 15 years ago, when cars stopped being machines and turned into devices. EVs are just the continuation of a trend towards weight, bulk, pointless functionality and wilful ugliness passed off as "eye-catching". Meh.

@TechOperator I think there is a misconception about EVs and the "anti-EV crowd". It isn't about being anti EV- it is about being anti- government forcing the People to buy, use or pay for things. Like Gov. Hochul trying to BAN gas appliances. We have lots of Teslas on the roads here in

@TechOperator Well said. I have wasted enough time money and worry on cars, they’re great fun. But old cars cost money to keep running and that money comes from somewhere. I have had EVs for years, and enthusiast cars, thry will coexist but one is used much more. Happy motoring
