Today my heart fluttered as I stepped back into a third-grade classroom to read to the students at Fairview Elementary School. Thank you to Principal Fuller and the Fairview Family for hosting this amazing event to kick off Black History Month! Book:“Grace Goes To Washington”

We celebrated February One by inviting African American community members to engage our scholars in reading children’s books by African American authors! The love for reading was contagious throughout the building. We 💜 our community!
