Sorry to hear this happened to MLA Amelia Boultbee. Violence against women is never acceptable.
Last night at approximately 10 PM several vehicles and individuals approached my home and rocks were thrown at my home and vehicle. Police were called and investigated. While the motive or perpetrators remains unknown to me, this is very distressing in light of recent events.

No matter our differences, we can all agree that political violence, especially the targeting of the home of an elected official, has no place in our province.

Gratitude to Minister @BowinnMa and team for delivering for Prince Rupert! This new emergency department will greatly improve access to critical health services, ensure residents receive the high-quality care they deserve and attract new doctors and health-care staff to the area.
🏥 Prince Rupert’s upgraded ER is open! With more room and a better equipped ER, this $16.5M project strengthens care for people who rely on the hospital. @Josie_Osborne @Northern_Health @TamaraDavidson6

1/ Criminals are targeting families and businesses in B.C. with intimidation and violence. This is extortion. No one should have to live under that kind of fear. 🧵

Major projects are underway in BC, and for continued prosperity, Canada must look west. Very proud to participate in the celebration of Highland Valley Coppers expansion today. Truly a historic moment for our province.

🚧 It’s incredible to see how far the addition at Westview Elementary has come, from the ground up to a fully roofed structure—rain or shine! This video covers 13 working days from Aug 12 when the slab was poured, to Aug 27 when the bulk of the installation was completed! 1/2

Thank you to police for their tireless work tackling gang violence. We know there’s more to do — that’s why we’re investing in policing and continuing to strengthen civil forfeiture and unexplained wealth orders to strip organized crime of profits. https://t.co/QRbDpqd10Q

As we shared last week, our provincial measures in response to Trump’s trade war remain in place, including the removal of American liquor. Our resolve is getting noticed and having an impact, as we choose to buy local to defend BC’s jobs and economy. 🇨🇦

The move to take American booze off the shelves in many Canadian provinces has harmed U.S. distillers, the industry body said in its statement on Monday.
