When people have put a lot of stock into a player, they lose their standards. I support Liverpool so of course I want Wirtz to succeed. But right now he doesn't complete through balls, floats crosses and shoots like he's anaemic. You don't pay 116M to just circulate the ball.

Wirtz needs to improve in the final third but if anybody is expecting Cherki output just forget it. Wirtz is much more of a connector & has shown great promise but can that get to worth £100M+… That’s what I’m a little worried about, he’ll have to run games EVERY week #LFC
