This January marks the fifth year since the Toronto Police Service embarked on its Race and Identity Based Data Collection (RBDC) Strategy. This ongoing initiative applies an iterative, hypothesis-driven approach.

On November 19, the Working Group on Respectful Workplaces in Policing hosted a workshop to provide practical tools and guidance for police services to address incivility, harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

Today, members of our unit attended @BethTzedec and were given a tour of their place of worship and a great understanding of #Judaism. Our unit was very appreciative for the time and answering of all our questions and a better understanding of our community as a whole.

This morning members of our RBDC team attended @TPS31Div to present findings from our data analysis. We continue to engage with our @TorontoPolice members internally on our journey to ensure as many of their voices are heard and to help understand the work being done.
