Raiden Lainchbury (2026) is an offensive engine on the court. A 5'11 guard that isn't afraid to take it to the rim and read the defense on his way to a different move each time. Not afraid to move the ball when needed, this guy comes loaded with a great offensive IQ and bag.

Nash Semeniuk (Yr 2) put the team on his back with a career scoring night, including an and-one three to put them up one late in the game. Being the initiator for the Bears, he has already proven that he has an elite understanding and IQ of the game. His potential is sky high.

In his first year out of high school, Jacob McLellan already looks like an impact guard for MRU. His explosive three level scoring has translated perfectly and allowed him to move into a sixth man role scoring 12 points tonight. He has just scraped the surface of his potential.

Brock Stupar's (Yr 4) offensive presence and leadership will be vital for TKU this season. He has great anticipation on defense, snatching several steals and scoring creatively in transition against NAIT. He hardly left the court during their run in the first half.

Kohl Wedman (Yr 2) has shown his scoring ability at full force this season. The 6'2 guard shows no fear when drivng to the rim and can shoot the lights out from downtown when he gets the room. Against Medicine Hat he finished with 13 points (4/7 FG) and 2 threes earning the POG.

Vwede Mike-Ifeta (2026) has shown that hard work and dedication pays off with his immense growth every season. A 6'4 G/F that can punish teams down the lane with a smooth finishing ability at the rim. Always the most athletic guy in the gym and makes sure everyone knows.

Jonah Chiniquay (2026) is a 6'0 tall score-first guard that brings a hustle and fearlessness to the game. He never stops moving on or off ball and is a deadeye from range as well when he finds his spots. The constant energy he brings to the court is any coach's dream.

I left the gym really impressed with what I saw from 6’9 Wieu Atuer of @OrangevillePrep For starters, the Australian passes the eye test with flying colours, has a 7’2 wingspan & great body language. Lined up for a free throw, grabbed his own rebound & punched it home. Special.

Talk about a college ready frame — (2027) 6’6 Isaiah Lukusa of @OrangevillePrep is built different. Physically he’s ready to defend multiple positions at the college level. After the game he was immediately back on the floor getting work in, you don’t see that very often.

Got a message yesterday from (2027) 6’5 Zachary Downer (@HodanPREP) before the game saying to “pull up” — and let me tell you this kid did not disappoint. He poured in 31 points in a road victory at Orangeville Prep. Holds offers from LIU, Youngstown, Stonehill & San Francisco.

A lot of promising flashes from (2027) 6’4 Rasheed Morrison in his game against Hodan Prep. Played above the rim, played with intensity. Has the potential to be one of the brightest stars in a fairly loaded class of 2027 from north of the border. Finished the game with 14 points.

Markez Cain (2026) is a high IQ guard looking to play both football and basketball at a U SPORT level. A shifty heads up guard who can find his teammates in creative ways. He is a great floor general for a high level team with a quick trigger from deep. Built to be an athlete.
