After playing for the Montréal Alliance over the Summer Sultan Haider-Bhatti is back with Brandon as a leader. One of the best passers I've seen for an off guard, his processing and reads are next level. Shot making from all over the court was on full display tonight. A true pro.

25 seconds on the clock, Brandon down by two. Brandon's ball. If you aren't watching this you're missing out on one hell of a game.

The Bobcats have not led yet tonight but they won't go away either they are playing tough defense and rotating very well. The U of A is just playing better offense right now. Does defense win games? Bears up by 9 going into the fourth.

The Bobcats are back and Sultan might be one of the best Passers I've seen at his position. We have a game here tonight.

Brandon had a few calls go against them in the early parts of the game and have been playing from behind since. They seem like they're playing nervously and definitely not comfortable. Bears up by 11 in the second right now.

Tipping off now, the U of A Golden Bears Take on the Brandon Bobcats. Both coaches are anticipating a tough matchup ahead of them, so hopefully this one turns out to be a battle.

Jayden Stephens (Yr 3) took the ball straight into the defense and hit the game winner against MacEwan on Saturday, showing no fear. The forward finished with 14 Pts 6 Reb and 5 Stl. He has shown that he can be the guy this season, leading the team in points, 3Pt%, and rebounds.

The biggest number to watch heading into the second half is the offensive boards for the Wolfpack. It's only a four point game right now and the second chance points have been keeping TRU in this game.

The Griffins are scoring almost exclusively in the paint right now and it's working for them with a noticeable size advantage down low.

TRU look to keep up their impressive 4-0 start to the season and keep their lead of the Pacific Division against MacEwan today. The Griffin's are looking for some redemption today after a close loss yesterday.

Malik Edwards (Yr 1) is one of the best point of attack defenders I've seen. A 6'3 dog that can bother ball handlers coast to coast with the discipline to not foul. His lateral footwork is elite. With 4 steals and 15 points he will be someone to keep an eye out for at CUE.

In a back and forth game, CUE took an 8 point lead in the third after a big run and never looked back. The Thunder seemed to be the more comfortable team late in the game and played with a lot more composure, especially their guards.

RDP is up 3 at the half because of their tough full court defense and their relentless attack on the rim. It's still anyone's game but the Kings have a chance to take over if they start off strong right out of the break.

Keellaa Gatwech (Yr 3) with two first half highlight dunks off the dribble already. An extremely athletic forward for the Thunder that's bringing the life they need to the game right now.

Two hungry young squads in Concordia and Red Deer Polytechnic look to find their first win tonight. I'm excited to see who shines in a game where neither team has anything to lose.

Raiden Lainchbury (2026) is an offensive engine on the court. A 5'11 guard that isn't afraid to take it to the rim and read the defense on his way to a different move each time. Not afraid to move the ball when needed, this guy comes loaded with a great offensive IQ and bag.

Jonah Chiniquay (2026) is a 6'0 tall score-first guard that brings a hustle and fearlessness to the game. He never stops moving on or off ball and is a deadeye from range as well when he finds his spots. The constant energy he brings to the court is any coach's dream.

To every High school basketball player in Canada who hopes to play college basketball, it’s not about where start but where you finish. Declan Peterson played 2 years in the ACAC at Lethbridge. Transferred to Calgary to play USport. He is now at Western Michigan playing D1.

Vwede Mike-Ifeta (2026) has shown that hard work and dedication pays off with his immense growth every season. A 6'4 G/F that can punish teams down the lane with a smooth finishing ability at the rim. Always the most athletic guy in the gym and makes sure everyone knows.
