Krewe of Carrollton's longest parade (7.5 miles) was in 1973, riding in on Oak from den, to Carrollton, Earhart, NC Francis bridge, Tulane, Canal, St Charles to St Joseph and back to Canal, through the Quarter on Royal and St Ann to the Auditorium #Bonkers

Talk about a survivor. This live oak, 3’ from Magazine St measures 6’7” in diameter. Likely late 1700s-earliest 1800s. Every auto ever in the city has thundered over its roots. Healthy AF
