His blackness is a HUGE piece of his character, because in his first appearnce he was ridiculed for it by the opposing team at a soccer game. They called him names, and even physically assaulted him. The first manifestation of his mutant powers occured due to the attack.

This idea that Jean goes crazy with power is false. I’m not sure where it comes from. Jean very rarely loses control and doesn’t lose control at all now but even when Dark Phoenix happened that was due to mental and sexual torture that was inflicted upon her it wasn’t just power
When Jean gets Phoenix she starts going crazy and it’a a cosmic force. Storm didn’t get any power up but all of a sudden she’s one shooting every omega mutant i just want her to put a fight at least. One shooting people with lightning is not entertaining
