Which of these drawings do people think exudes more aura? Hoshino’s sketches on the left are so damn slick and raw looking, BUT you just can’t top that iconic CG-style of the finished artwork imo. It’s magical 😭.

This might be a weird answer considering we didn't get much actual games, but aesthetically its probably the era between 3 and Adventure. Its just got this magical "glow" to it. A confidence and optimism for the future. The music slaps too 😭

Discovered this dude a few years back. His songs are some of the absolute funniest shit I've ever come across in the Sonic community. I sing them to myself constantly. Found out he died not long ago in a car accident 😢. Look up SIC ILL and treat yourself to some peak. RIP King.

Of course. It’s always a kneejerk reaction from the kinds of adults that think children don’t already experience fear, loneliness or emotional pressure. Just show them nice, happy things that make them feel good! This my favourite quote on the topic:

Which is why its so awesome how Sonic Adventure blends the two tracks together for its Invincibility theme. Almost like passing the torch from the electronic Classic era to the rock-tastic Modern era.
I love “It Doesn’t Matter” but “You Can Do Anything” will always be Sonic’s theme to me
