Taiwan has *6* active COVID cases, per Worldometers.
7 people have died.
The last reported death was May 11.
More people live in Taiwan than Florida.

Twitter announces it deleted *70,000* accounts that were primarily sharing QAnon content at scale.
If you've lost a lot of followers, it might just be you had a lot of Q-ers in your midst.

Ironic that in Georgia, the global headquarters of Coca-Cola, it is now against the law to give a Coke - or a Dasani - to someone waiting in line to vote.

Trump OMB deficit projection this year: $890 billion.
Next year: $1,085 billion.
Susan Collins tells me she plans to vote to restore net neutrality. If all Dems vote yes, Ds just need 1 more Republican to pass resolution overturning FCC.
That's every Senate Republican plus every Democrat now via unanimous consent agreeing to call on the Trump administration to cough up the whistleblower complaint, not just the phone call transcript. This is rare, folks.
Could be a long night. Lindsey Graham said they are going to request voice votes individually on all 376 pending military nominations being blocked by Tuberville. Tuberville is blocking every one of his fellow Republicans’ requests. They are visibly angry.
!!NEW CDC guidance: No gatherings over 50 people for 8 weeks.!!
No gatherings of *any size* w/o social distancing, hand hygiene & protecting vulnerable populations.
"Mr. Warnock? Aye."
A lot of talk about Manchin this and Manchin that, but Georgia had a much bigger impact on this bill than the Senator from West Virginia.

We've now entered Fiscal Year 2019.
OMB has projected a deficit of $1.085 Trillion dollars.
Paul Ryan became Speaker of the House weeks after fiscal year 2015 ended with a deficit of $439 billion.
Before we had a vaccine for measles, millions got measles and about 500 people died every year, per CDC.
That's our COVID death toll right now about every 6 hours.
A Maine farmer went to pick up 800 baby chicks from the U.S. Postal Service.
They were all dead.
The USPS has been delivering chicks since 1918, but now...
Mitch McConnell arguing it's unconstitutional to try a former president after he announced Jan. 13 he would not allow a trial of Trump while he was president.
Trump literally walked out of the meeting where Pelosi and Schumer were offering him a $2T infrastructure deal because he was upset about other things. That was the end of his infrastructure deal.
Former President Trump out with a statement ripping
@LeaderMcConnell
for supporting the infrastructure bill, and claiming he could have gotten a $2 Trillion dollar infrastructure bill, but McConnell said no. But it was Trump who walked out on that idea
McConnell on Senate floor both makes clear Republicans are prepared to block a lot of Biden's agenda while simultaneously insisting Schumer commit to preserving the filibuster rule, which enables them to do just that.
Under the new White House rules, if the president flat-out lies to you, you can only ask a followup challenging it if he agrees to let you. Otherwise they can pull your hard pass. They can also pull your hard pass if you ask two questions instead of one.
I kind of feel like not enough people realize we are potentially headed to a government shutdown in less than 2 weeks in the middle of a pandemic that is killing 2,000 Americans a day.
90% of Democratic senators have signed on to a bill aimed at stopping family separations. No Republican senator has signed on.
Trump this a.m. tweets that the Democrats are forcing family separations.
UPDATE: 43 senators now support our bill to bar children from being taken from their parents at the border. We still need a Republican senator to join. If you’re represented by a Republican senator, please ask them to cosponsor S.3036.

It is actually possible to not miss any Senate votes.
Susan Collins hasn't missed any.
Chuck Grassley went 27 years without missing a vote before his positive COVID test.

I think people haven’t fully processed what 5% interest rates will mean for the $31 trillion debt. It’s a simple math equation but it’s sort of like adding a second Defense Department worth of expenses to the budget except you get nothing in return.
I called Speaker Pelosi today and asked her to call the House back into session immediately to deal with the crisis at the post office. Trump is attempting to sabotage the USPS.
