The Climate Council's Tim Flannery says WA's record heat is a warning of extreme summers to come. "Looking forward a decade, that record in Onslow will look more like the average, if we don't act, than an extreme event - and that's deeply concerning." https://t.co/KBWnE5SUF8

In news that's unrelated to the release of today's bullshit modelling of Australia's not zero by 2050 plan - conducted by @McKinsey - 1,100 employees of the firm signed a letter protesting the obstructive role it is playing in the shift to zero emissions.

For all the talk of the ‘the Australian way’, it’s actually US-based consultants who are providing the modelling for net-zero by 2050, at considerable cost and at the expense of homegrown expertise. CSIRO staff slam outsourced net-zero modelling - https://t.co/osxCccpxKP
