“An analysis by economists at the University of Illinois shows the average corn farmer had a net return of minus $153 an acre this year. And yet, all eight fertilizers DTN tracks on a weekly basis are anywhere from 10% to 28% higher in price than they were a year ago.” 🤬

Elon can put rockets into space multiple times, and yet @Deere suddenly can’t crimp a tractor hydraulic hose from factory without it bleeding thru after a few seasons?? And then actually think customers will order an overpriced replacement from “PARTS”?? Fool me once…

I’ve noticed more people driving with hazard lights on in storms/poor visibility. My thoughts are that it makes you & everyone around you LESS safe. It’s very distracting & disorienting for other drivers; it’s safer to use your headlights & taillights. Thoughts?

Both groomers were out last night to work on smoothing out and packing down all of that snow. Still some soft spots out there but the trails aren't limited because of limited snow! Always check the ITG for the latest trail availability at https://t.co/N5E9qecHJE. Enjoy!

The road to a better time for the soybean acre is a rough one. Better turn on the 4WD.

This is crazy but not surprising given the entire wealth management industry in Canada is concentrated among 5 banks.

We might have gotten a bit of powder overnight... 😅 Trails remain closed but we're working hard to change that! Please stay off until you see a status change on the ITG at https://t.co/N5E9qec9U6. Plan is to finish staking and try to clear and pack the Swamp on Saturday.

Soybean photosynthesizes efficiently through to maturity even with 30–40% defoliation before flowering: no yield loss. Leaves lost early are rapidly replaced by early R-stages. Canopy compensation in soybean can be enormous (Board & Harville, Agron J., 1996; Kropff et al.,
