The arrogance, the dismissiveness, the smug cackling, the accents.
If Donald Trump wins re-election this year, I’ll remember this brief CNN segment late one Saturday night in January as the perfect encapsulation for why it happened.
- Why wasn’t there signs of forced entry at Pelosi home?
- Who was 3rd person who opened door for the police?
- Why was Pelosi holding hammer, and attack only happened after police arrived?
- Where is bodycam / security footage?
- Why isn’t the press asking these questions?
NBC reported new details re: Pelosi attack:
- Pelosi answered door, didn't "declare an emergency or try to leave his home," instead walked toward the assailant
- Pelosi & DePape were in house for 30 minutes before police arrived
Then NBC deleted this video from all platforms.
As recently as last month, Webster’s Dictionary included a definition of “preference” as “orientation” or “sexual preference.” TODAY they changed it and added the word “offensive."
Insane - I just checked through Wayback Machine and it’s real.

I know this may come across as harsh, but if you think the journalism world should pretend the New York Post’s Hunter Biden story doesn’t exist, you don’t belong in the journalism world.
Unbelievable deception from CNN during Trump’s Rose Garden address.
They showed DC protests in a double box (like MSNBC), but kept the sound up on each to make it seem like you could hear the protesters clashing with police while Trump spoke. Just journalistic malpractice.
Rachel Maddow asks E. Jean Carroll what she's going to do with "Trump's money" to help "women's rights."
Carroll says she and Maddow will "go shopping, get completely new wardrobes, new shoes...Rachel, what do you want, penthouse?"
Her lawyer nervously says "that's a joke":
Yesterday's conspiracy theories are today's legacy media news reports...

Joe Rogan fans often point to his fig-leaf endorsement of Bernie Sanders as proof that Rogan isn't right-wing.
But right-wingers overwhelmingly are his favorites as you can see from his guest list.

Joe Biden and Anderson Cooper are making a point of social distancing during the CNN Town Hall while on the stage.
But when they think they’ve gone to commercial break, they get so close to each other that Biden is whispering in Cooper’s ear:
The guy leading the Media Matters campaign against Tucker Carlson wrote blog posts describing “bags of Jewish gold,” called Japanese people “Japs,” praised KKK leader Robert Byrd and denigrated trans people...all around the time of Tucker’s radio comments:
When the 10-year-old abortion story turns out to be this year’s Jussie Smollett, will there be any introspection among the media? And will the press demand accountability of the politicians who spread it?

Looking forward to the next batch of DeSantis media coverage that's sure to be coming soon...
A couple weeks ago Kara Swisher announced she was leaving Twitter. Instead she has stayed and turned her attention full-time to tweeting about how irrelevant the “Twitter Files” are. The consensus pushers are panicked.
Here’s what I don’t understand, scientifically:
If you’re vaccinated (and boosted, and masked, whatever you are comfortable with)… why do you care what the people you encounter have chosen? You are protected to the level you find appropriate. What others do is irrelevant.
The Paul Pelosi story used to be the kind that made journalists excited to dig into & explore - getting to the truth.
Now the Acela Media instinct is to do the opposite - silence everything other than the consensus narrative.
At the core - fundamental distrust of the audience.
There were 36 positive flu tests reported by the CDC last week.
Last year in the same week there were 7,703 positive flu tests, and no year in the last 5 had fewer than 320 positive tests.

Milking those last 9 days!
MSNBC doing “GOP debate analysis” by having Biden’s former press secretary interviewing Biden’s former chief of staff. They agree that the winner of the night… was Biden.
How embarrassing for anyone who thinks MSNBC is a “news” network.
More people died with coronavirus in New York City (population 8 million) than Texas (29 mil), Florida (21 mil), California (39 mil) and Georgia (11 mil) … combined.
In case you were wondering, Hunter Biden using the n-word in text messages has not been mentioned a single time on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS or NBC since the news broke yesterday, and not a single article about it exists on any of their websites.
We know the media leans left - this is beyond politics. I’m not sure anything will erode the public’s trust more than the last 10 days. To go from canvassing beaches to shame a few people for not social distancing to covering thousands with no mention of coronavirus is stunning.

This has been wall-to-wall on CNN today - non-stop, fear-mongering, COVID-shaming of people in outdoor public spaces... and not even backed up by most of the actual footage being aired. Absolutely ridiculous.

Darren Rovell lost .4% of his Twitter followers for tweeting about Trump, and, for him, that means the “cost of speaking your mind has never been greater.” Remarkable, self-important nonsense.
On a day journalists could honor the memory of fellow reporters tragically killed due to a deranged person with a vendetta going back years, Acosta tries to shift the blame to Trump, thus validating many Americans’ feelings about the Acela Media (that existed long before Trump).
Darrell Brooks was found guilty yesterday of 6 counts of intentional homicide, for the Waukesha parade massacre.
Brooks was mentioned just 2 times on CNN and 1 time on MSNBC during the 4-week trial - despite there being cameras in the courtroom, and Brooks representing himself.
While announcing Chris Cuomo’s indefinite suspension, Anderson Cooper was sitting next to … Jeffrey Toobin, who returned in June from an indefinite suspension.
I’m not saying this tragic death is on President Biden’s hands, but I’m saying if this were last year, the media would be saying that it’s on President Trump’s hands:
Is it possible they got infected from Rep. Gwen Moore, who went against the guidelines and returned to D.C. to vote for Speaker Pelosi after only six days of quarantine, three days earlier?
→ The second trend: More and more Dems have contracted for Covid-19. 3 House Ds who were on the floor last week with Covid-positive colleagues and then locked in a secure room with maskless Republicans during the attack on the Capitol now have tested positive for the virus.
NYT also reports the FBI "had as many as eight informants inside" inside the Proud Boys, in the months before AND after the January 6 riot.
Despite this, NYT asserts "no evidence has surfaced suggesting that the FBI played any role in the attack." Yet!

Based on the media’s coverage of COVID-19 this week, which state do you think had the most reported coronavirus deaths today - Florida, Texas or New York? Note: New York has the smallest population.
Answer: New York (45) - compared to Florida (37) and Texas (31).
The “Hunter Biden dossier” has literally nothing to do with any of the reporting in the New York Post, Fox News, Daily Caller, Bobulinski interviews with Tucker Carlson etc - this is pure journalistic sleight of hand gaslighting by NBC News.
NBC Exclusive: The Hunter Biden 'dossier' that went viral on right-wing internet sites and was later disseminated by Trump's close associates appears to be from a fake 'intelligence firm'.
The author of the report, 'Martin Aspen', does not exist.
CNN has reported on-air today a total of 23 times that the Biden administration has had to start from “scratch” - Dr. Fauci directly contradicts this Biden talking point.
Fauci makes clear there are elements from what the Trump administration put in place re: vaccine distribution are being utilized. Notes there is a ramping up.
"We certainly are not starting from scratch."

I mean this is all just complete insanity. Here’s Leon Panetta, Obama’s Defense Sec, writing in 2018 for CNN about how “Trump is not who we are” since “we are all created equal under God, regardless of our race, creed, religion, color, sexual preference."

The lead story on CNN right now claims “protests are erupting” and cites Maryland’s protests specifically throughout the beginning of the article. Gov. Hogan’s staff says there were more media requests to cover the protests than actual protesters.
This sort of faux journalism insight is the worst of Twitter. In the Trump Era, Soledad is empowered to embrace her true beliefs, instead of objectivity. As I saw working with her, she believes everyone is beneath her. It makes life far less complicated, and nuance-free.
The biggest failure of the

Fascinating to watch how the left-leaning cable networks have covered Biden’s “you ain’t black” comment.
MSNBC has discussed it nearly every hour, including a lengthy tough interview between

Today's coronavirus perspective:
The most deadly week (7 days) for New York amounted to 6,683 COVID-19 deaths, according to CDC data.
That’s more deaths than the TOTAL during this entire pandemic in states like Florida and Texas. (Also, FL and TX have more residents than NY.)
What journalistic principle do you possess if you’re a member of the media who supports the White House (ANY White House) telling Facebook who to ban.
Zero principles.
I really enjoy this CNN article headlined “What does ‘gender-fluid’ mean?” which includes this line: "Being gender-fluid doesn't determine a person's sexual preference."
Apparently what is considered offensive language, like gender, is fluid.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless drug addict with a politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior.
President Biden did not take any questions after his COVID pandemic briefing.

On the CNN homepage right now there are 11 references to Donald Trump, who left office more than 1 year ago.
There are zero references to Joe Biden.
Is there any wonder why trust (and audience) is eroding?
Incredible CNN segment. Reporter says how peaceful it is in CHAZ. One of the protesters crashes the shot and tries to organize people to interrupt the report. Reporter then says “no doubt some of these protesters are armed” (contradicting CNN's report):
I think we’ve reached the point in the Joe Biden Tara Reade story where it’s fair to say if the same corroborating evidence existed regarding Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations, Brett Kavanaugh would not be on the Supreme Court right now.
Joe Biden spends three tweets attempting to “clarify” his offensive comments earlier - comments that you may have missed if you’re an MSNBC viewer (covered zero times on TV) or CNN viewer (covered 1 time) or CNN reader (no article on the website)...
Earlier today, I made some comments about diversity in the African American and Latino communities that I want to clarify. In no way did I mean to suggest the African American community is a monolith—not by identity, not on issues, not at all.

NYT is ready to tell the truth about John Fetterman - who remains in the hospital for a 3rd day - now that the truth doesn't matter.
"a physical impairment and serious mental health challenges that have rendered the transition extraordinarily challenging"
Watch the full question, and then watch the full answer.
It feels politically and medically unethical to have Fetterman run for office right now. If the media can't cover this very serious issue after the debate, they are truly hopeless.
The New York Post broke the Hunter Biden story and was promptly banned from Twitter, receiving very little defense from fellow journalists, some who explicitly said it was disinformation and it should be ignored. It’s not hard to see why we are where we are.

If journalists really want to help in this time of panic, they would stop tweeting, and only RT accurate opinion-free coronavirus information from trustworthy sources.
Nearly every tweet is spreading panic further, not helping.
