I walked into the lion’s den and spoke with with @joerogan on his podcast for more than 3 hours — vaccines, ivermectin, and much more. Friends tried to get me to turn down his invite, but ultimately I’m glad I did it.

I want to offer my congratulations to President-elect @JoeBiden, but also remind him that a record 126,480 Americans were diagnosed with Covid-19 yesterday. Cases are rising in 41 states & we're headed into a long winter. There are solutions, but they need to be implemented stat.

I used to watch @Jeopardy with my parents and now with my own kids. The thing is: there is just something so beautiful and reassuring about facts, simple straightforward facts. I cherish that. An honor to be an upcoming guest host, but seriously miss the great Alex Trebek.

Thank-you for all the well wishes! I do feel incredibly lucky and privileged to travel the world and tell these important stories. What an amazing 20 years @cnn. Hard to believe this kid 👇🏾 has made it this long. (I still wear that same tie!)

Just finished speaking to @pfizer CEO @AlbertBourla about #COVID19 #vaccine. Very promising to hear 90% effective, but questions remain, such as: how well the vaccine will protect against serious disease vs infection, overall safety data and how long immunity lasts.

If I tell you the story of 1 person who died of #Covid19, you are likely to have lots of empathy. If I tell you that story 500K times, your empathy may start to fatigue. We can't let that happen. These numbers should not wash over you and please don't let your compassion fade.

Nope.
Do you think when @drsanjaygupta was in medical school years ago that he thought that one day, he’d be spending time in his day during a pandemic debunking the “cousin’s friend’s swollen balls” vaccine claims by rapper @NICKIMINAJ?

According to the White House doctor, the President was actually diagnosed with #COVID19 on Wednesday morning, and received experimental antibody therapy on Thursday morning — despite public being previously told the President was diagnosed at 1a on Friday.

Getting my shot in one way felt so small and mundane. At the same time, it was like landing on the moon. The work of thousands of scientists, volunteers and so many others to make it happen. We are all indebted to them and the story they share on @CNN film #RaceForTheVaccine

As you think about a hopefully more normal summer and school year next fall, please try and be mindful of the growing number of Covid orphans. A new model estimates nearly 40,000 children have lost a parent to this disease. Hug them tight, and #BeKind .

Truly remarkable – this has been described as the "moonshot" of infectious disease. I didn’t think we’d be having this conversation this year, but the incredible scientists at @pfizer and @BioNTech_Group made it happen. We should all take a breath and just take this in.

A new report from @earthinstitute says that insufficient testing, a lack of a national mask mandate and an delayed overall response has led us to 130,00 to 210,00 preventable deaths during the pandemic. (1/2).

Thank you Abby. Means a lot. Realizing that so many of us are dealing with loss in one way or another. More important than ever to be there for each other.
Grateful today and every day for the incredible @drsanjaygupta who has been tireless for over the last 20+ years as a physician and journalist, but especially in these last few months. His tribute to Charlotte Figi on @NewDay was absolutely beautiful.

While we are beginning to feel the light on our faces after this pandemic, part of me wonders if we will actually take away the lessons we learned this past year. We owe it to every life lost to make sure this never happens again. I hope you’ll be watching tonight. #CovidWar
