According to the Saint Louis Federal Reserve:.In January of 1970, the ratio of GDP to Federal Debt was 35.3% - i.e. for each dollar of GDP, We The People owed a little over a thirty-five cents of Federal debt. In December of 2024, the ratio of GDP to Federal Debt was 121.8% -.
In 1970, a single income could buy a house, a car, and put three kids through school. Today two incomes barely cover rent and daycare. WTF happened?.

I have a serious question, Mr. Musk. You claim the future is solar. I don't see how. According to the Department of Energy, the USA uses (on the average) 4.07e15 watt hours daily. Under ideal conditions, at the spot perpendicular to the sun, the earth receives around 1.4e3.
The math is obvious and unequivocal:. ~100% of energy over time comes from the Sun. Everything else is a rounding error.

When I went to college back in the early 1980s. I worked full time and went to school part time and slept when I could. I started at a Jr. college, transferred to a state school and, six years later, earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. College was cheap enough, I.
Rich people don’t hold student debt, they were able to afford school. Student debt is held by those who come from working class families and couldn’t afford to pay the tuition. Student debt shouldn’t exist. It should be free to go to college, just like other public schools.
