The new 18MP front camera on the iPhone 17 is the Sony IMX914. This has a pixel size of 0.96µm at 18MP resolution. Sensor size is unknown. And it’s technically an octagon, hence why you can’t take 1:1 photos in full resolution.

Apple just released a repair program for iPhone 14+. Some iPhone 14+ mfg from April 10, 2023 to April 28, 2024 have a rear cam issue that prevents preview of image in camera app when taking a video or photo. Free rear cam replacement up to 3yrs from devices purchase date.

Unreleased colorways of color-matched Lightning cables included with Apple Silicon iMacs. A small glimpse into some possible early iMac colors. They're darker, more vibrant, and the normally white plastic has a matching color tint. Yellow/Orange/Blue matches the HomePod Minis.

Here's an Apple Watch band design that never made it into production. Apple Deployment Band! The Sport variety is known to come in White and Red (pictured), and a few leather versions exist I n Saddle Brown, Red, and Ultraviolet Less than 15 are known to exist of all types.

You can also achieve similar result DIY with 9V battery and some wire. One point on frame, one point on bottom-left square on battery itself (it's a conductive pad), and then hook up +/- terminals. It will loosen after about a minute.

An unreleased 2020 France Olympic Sport Loop band! Meant to launch in 2020 alongside the Olympics. Then Covid hit, thus the entire band collection was scrapped and redesigned for 2021. This is an engineering version. The country letters (FRA) are more spaced out on production.
