Realistically, no platform offers much of anything to indies (except for the platform itself), since yeah, you're stuck in algo hell until you go viral... and yeah they all want a pretty big cut of the loot whether or not you make money.
Just remember, Valve continues to take 30% of your indie game despite burying it unless you get unicorn level sales. It is very catch-22 and short of external viral events or 5 years to build wish lists, you're drawing dead on launch most of the time even with a quality game.

I still don't really see it. Imagine is great at video generation, but a game has way more than that in it, and it relies on a deterministic world. Anything else is unreadable by players.

At 15 year auto loan is insane. I don't recall doing more than 4-6 years on them, and even that felt excessive for the cheap cars I usually buy.

I have to wonder why Disneyland has this effect on people my age. I went to the one in California once as a teenager, and it was okay, but definitely not this. Maybe it's just because it took my family so long to get a VHS player, so I didn't "grow up" with Disney stuff.
Disneyland is filled with dual income no kid types who wear Mickey Mouse ears and tshirts btw. Last time I was there with my kids it was surreal. Standing in line for a kids ride and surrounded by all but 2 families 🤣
