Our evening activity saw two groups take part in a survival session on a 'remote' part of the lake. We looked at how to survive in the wild and enhanced our fire lighting skills.

artwork. It really put into perspective how impressive the Earth is allowed us to reflect whilst standing underneath the incredible art work.

Group 10 had a kayaking session all morning out on the lake. We played a range of games, a few of us got a little wet! At the end we cooled off by having a dip!

Good morning from Year 4 at Beaumanor! We had a fab first day! Survival in the woods was particularly enjoyable…until the thunder started rumbling in! The children definitely enjoyed hide and seek in the cellars!
Huge congratulations to both the boys' and the girls' football Y5/6 teams. There were both silver medalists in the county finals! (Over 200 schools in the whole of Leicestershire!)
A fantastic first day at Beaumanor for Year 4! We’ve completed a scavenger hunt, successfully built bridges, ate plenty of food, and are looking forward to hide and seek in the cellars this evening!
Robin Hood definitely doesn't have anything to worry about with us fortunately! A few hits, Mr Davis been the worse shot of the lot! He'll stick to what he knows!

This afternoon we all joined together and did canoeing, the weather was glorious and we were put through our paces battling the wind and tide out on the lake.
What a memorable Residential to Duke’s Barn! Year 4 were amazing!They rose to the challenges and pushed themselves to the limit. In all activities, they moulded together to become a team full of spirit, joy and respect for one another.

Our school represented North Charnwood in Hockey and Athletics at the School Games Festival at Loughborough University yesterday, and all pupils had an incredible time! And even better, North Charnwood were crowned Champions for the second year in a row! Well done!🏆🏆🏆
