@KOT4Q Damian Lillard to the Cavs (ignore that they that already have Garland) An 30+ year old superstar coming off an injured year to join a young team that won a title in 2016 but has been rebuilding ever since. They are contenders, but are in the same division as the Chiefs (Bucks)

@PettyAirJordan You realize MJ had Pippen for 10 years. Bron had a couple good years of Wade, Kyrie got injured in 2015 so 2 years, 1 year with Davis. Bosh and Love are comparable to Rodman, Kukoc.

@KOT4Q And the Chiefs Bucks comparison could be that both teams had one title 50 years ago, drafted a generation talent in the middle of the first round that analysts viewed as raw or unrefined. Won a meaningful title for a small market that sucked from 2007-2012, grew into a contender

@ThePackageJG Kyrie is a special talent. He averages 27-6-5 on 50-40-92 splits. He should be consensus top 15, and is not that far off of Dame/Luka/Steph. He's just not healthy. Last 4 seasons BPM (Box Plus-Minus) Steph: 7.4 Dame: 6.7 Kyrie: 6.7 Luka: 6.3 (7.5 last two seasons)

@KOT4Q What's wrong with that? He was the most impactful player on the 2nd best team in the NBA (Ja played in 36/56 of Memphis's wins; Desmond played in 53/56) He's listed as a SF on BBall-Ref I'd rather have 100 voters who are independent than a bunch of voters who vote the same.

Based off win probability, you can say that the final 15 seconds of regulation (9.14% of the result) are more important than the first 7:30 minutes (9.03% of the result) of the 1st quarter

Utah is 90-10 white-nonwhite California is 60-40 white-nonwhite Some quick math gives us 90%*10% = 9%, 60%*40% = 24%, 24/9 = 2.777 ≈ 3 = 36/12 So demographics accounts for a majority of the difference.

@FlyByKnite I mean they got the 1 seed locked up and are experimenting. I'd assume a 35 year old coming off a 4 month break is rusty. I think he'll be 100% playoff LeBron by the second round averaging 27-9-9 or so.

@Kobe__Forever -Jokic is special, he's averaging 25-10-10 and carrying the Nuggets -Curry isn't his prime self, he's shooting 36.6% from 3 (7% lower than career average) and can't really defend -AD's 2020 playoff run was amazing a few regular season games don't negate that

@rashadalaiyan LeBron isn't judged off the regular season, he's judged off the postseason since the Lakers are contenders. Steph is judged off the regular season because the Warriors aren't contenders. There is a real possibility that the Warriors miss the playoffs so every game counts.
