Utah is 90-10 white-nonwhite
California is 60-40 white-nonwhite
Some quick math gives us 90%*10% = 9%, 60%*40% = 24%, 24/9 = 2.777 ≈ 3 = 36/12
So demographics accounts for a majority of the difference.

I think Kawhi let the world know he's one of the best probably in the 2017 playoffs. Then after the quad injury he proved the doubters wrong again by carrying the raptors over the sixers and then locking up Giannis the next round.

LeBron is clearly more valuable to his team. AD is like 5th or so in the MVP race. Kinda like how Curry is always ahead of KD in MVP except without the 2 other all-stars.

LeBron isn't judged off the regular season, he's judged off the postseason since the Lakers are contenders.
Steph is judged off the regular season because the Warriors aren't contenders.
There is a real possibility that the Warriors miss the playoffs so every game counts.
