A high school kid who hits 23 mph cannot tolerate a training load of what a 20 mph kid can unless you train them like a 20 mph athlete. Which is training the 23 mph kid to be slow.

Followed @coachbdixon ‘s lead and passed gummy worms during our scrimmage. Every player said they felt fast the whole game.

You can condition all you want, but there’s still going to be a degradation from the first play to the last play. The question is: how can we degrade at a slower rate than our opponents? The answer: gummy worms.
