It was a pleasure to join yesterday’s visit to @Thales_Alenia_S's Space Smart Factory, currently under construction. A very impressive facility with strong potential to contribute to future ESA programmes — including in the field of Earth Observation.
I had a tour of the @Thales_Alenia_S Space Smart Factory in Rome, designed for the high-rate production of small and medium-sized satellites, targeting up to 2 satellites per week once fully operational! Ambitious and exciting. I look forward to seeing it fully up and running. I

Just now at #LPS25, we’ve signed a new contract with @isis_space for TANGO – our next Scout mission: two CubeSats tracking CO₂, CH₄ & NO₂ to support the Paris Agreement 🌍.TANGO is developed under @esa Scout framework, part of the Future EO Programme.
