Robbie is right. We need a judge-led, statutory inquiry into the rape gangs. A parliamentary commission couldn't compel witnesses and could end up harming criminal prosecutions. Once again Reform have rushed out with an announcement before checking their facts. I will continue

Anyone who has read Louise Casey's grooming gangs review will know that only a national inquiry with statutory powers for targeted investigations will expose the horrors. Reform's proposal for a parliamentary commission would be a let off for those involved in the cover-up.
