Did you know you pay more fuel tax on a single car journey than a billionaire does on a private jet flight? Right now the gov is subsidising tax breaks, when they could be using that tax to generate billions for public services. Help us change this: https://t.co/XS5q09o1Qy

Brilliant to win this amazing award for our bus stops campaign last night! Credit to the whole team and our partners in this!
We are hugely honoured that our #BetterBusStops campaign won Campaign of the Year! Judges praised the "impactful" campaign - led by @SilviyaB - for "making sustainable transport more accessible." Passengers deserve bus stops that are safe & attractive, with useful information.

Bus stops with outdated or missing timetables should be consigned to history. Our new report with @Optibus calls for a national standard for printed info at bus stops. Clear, accurate timetables mean people can catch the bus with confidence. Report:

I was very pleased to provide oral evidence, as well as a written submission, to the @TransportCttee inquiry on #rural buses 🌟and even more pleased the committee has taken up @CBTransport's recommendation for minimum service levels - let's end #transportdeserts
We’re calling for bold action to reverse a decade of bus service decline in England 🚌 Our new report urges the Govt to reform funding and adopt an ambition for a minimum level of public transport connectivity so no town or village is left behind. Read our report ⬇️

This is a bold & positive report with some great recommendations, including things we called for: • Gaps in bus provision should be identified & filled • Government should publish guidance on minimum service levels • A national standard for different categories of bus stops
