We weren't sure whether to post this thread. But we decided to be honest about how tough it is to be a small charity working on climate right now. If you just want to do something to help, click here: If you want to read a bit more, here's a 🧵.

Care workers drive 1,000+ miles a month to do essential jobs but many are stuck with high-polluting cars they can’t afford to replace. We’ve got a plan to fix that. Because care work doesn’t need to cost the earth. Email your MP: #CleanCarsforCareers.

We’ve worked with The Care Workers’ Charity and New AutoMotive to propose a scheme to get electric cars into the hands of the people who need them the most: care workers in rural areas, often driving...

Slower speeds mean safer streets. New data shows that 20mph limits are making it easier to walk, cycle, and breathe in London. This is what happens when we design streets for people, not just traffic. Is your borough getting it right? Find out below 👇.

We're trying to inspire 1,000 people to give just £2 a month to support our work. We know that sounds like a pretty standard fundraiser. But for us, this is a deliberate attempt to build real resilience against the febrile funding landscape.

Be one of 1,000 people giving £2 a month to power bold climate action. Your regular support will help us build a stable, people-powered future. Together, we can act with ambition, month after month.

Just this month, we've had a stark reminder of how fragile the funding landscape is here in the UK. One of the few funders dedicated to our sort of work was eviscerated overnight by its asset manager with no warning. Gone.

Up to 80% of global climate philanthropy comes from the US, and it's in jeopardy. President Trump is threatening to remove charitable status from philanthropic foundations. This would have a disastrous domino effect, punishing charities like us.

The persistent speculation that President Trump will take action against perceived adversarial nonprofits is becoming more pronounced. Plus, a rumored reorganization of the State Department.

Big news: The Climate Thousand has launched! We’re looking for 1,000 people who care about climate action to chip in just £2 a month to help power the kind of work that actually makes a difference.
I’ll be totally honest. The funding landscape for small charities is extremely tough. We’re trying to build something new: people powered funding for positive climate action. We don’t know if it’ll work. But we have hope. Can you be part of it?.
