Oh no, you just triggered a Dune Rant with me, lol I of course love the series but so many potholes, some caused by this very topic, of time gaps completely ignored by the author or even pointed out and dismissed. They have known jessica for decades, but still don't trust her
I hate writing myself into time gaps. I now have to fill one. Here is where creative writing comes into play. Ever experience these? How have you written to bridge one event and another without being boring?

My current feed as well!
At a certain point I'll accept the fact that my feed is 80% rage bait (which I only see because my mutuals interact with it), 17% book promotions, and 3% of mildly interesting stuff. And then I'll move on.

Maybe, i'm just a radical on this but i view family time greater than school time. Parents shouldn't need a reason to pull their kids out, just so the school can get some funding.
It’s 2025 and I actually have parents trying to defend pulling their child out of school for a vacation. I get a death. I get granny is turning 100 and lives out of state. But to get a cheaper vacation- nope. Can’t ever support that.

And here is a good example of why you should never go on the cruise. Forget the mega squid, Megladon or even Godzilla. Is the cruise company you need to worry about.
WHAT? This guy won a free cruise. Got sick with the flu while on the cruise. Spent 3 days in sick bay of the ship, and they charged him over $47,000 They even took the credit card on file and maxed them out to help pay for the bill. This is INSANE:
