In tonight's franchise altering Game 5, Cal's immense value really shows up. He knows every M's pitcher inside and out. No player will have more an impact on the game than Cal will on the defensive side. He also the most feared hitter in the series with 1.188 OPS

The Mariners lost Randy Johnson, Ken Griffey Jr, and Alex Rodriguez in 3 consecutive seasons. The year after that, they set an MLB record with a 116 wins. The year after that, they missed they playoffs and it took 21 years to get back to the playoffs. This franchise is insane

The Mariners are 0-4 and have been outscored 34-14 in games I've attended this year. I traveled a distance of 1500 miles to get there. I will not be at Game 5.

@grcolombini That said… so are the Tigers. I love Detroit. I love Detroit fans. I hope we can all be respectful to two scrappy ass baseball teams and fan bases that are going into a winner take all battle tomorrow. Nothing but respect from me.

Why is anyone jumping ship? This is playoff baseball baby!!! Game 5 winner take all. The other teams ace on the mound and coming home where the boys do their best work. This is what baseball is all about people!! The amount of people saying it’s over is astonishing. 9 INNINGS!!!
