My best case for Cal Raleigh as American League MVP so far isn’t just that he leads @MLB with 32 home runs and 68 RBI. It’s not just that he’s on pace for 67 HR, 143 RBI, 120 runs, 95 walks & 19 stolen bases. Cal also leads the AL in Win Probability Added (WPA), the WINNING stat!

CAL RALEIGH: 32 HR+68 RBI=💯. Cal is second switch-hitter in @MLB history to have HR+RBI≥100 this early into season (77 G). He joins Mickey Mantle (29 HR+71 RBI=💯) in 1956 Yankees first 77 G. Mantle also did it vs Senators/Twins franchise. He won AL MVP in ‘56. 👀 #TheMayerGWS.
