Can't decide which photo I like best of the Sika family I accidentally disturbed outside the Middlebere hide. They didn't run far,and soon stopped to look back.

Nice to be able to compare the underwings of Speckled Wood and Wall Brown on the track near the hide at Middlebere today.

Spotted three Wall Browns on the track at Middlebere today but none would pose with fully open wings.On a crumpled dead leaf in bright sunshine this one was hard to see.

A short walk at Bog Lane, Wareham this am produced nothing but this inquisitive Chiffchaff when I walked through a gate from wood to field and saw it on the barbed wire in front of me.
