I spent about 2 hours with this Goosander at Ferrybridge on Sunday and after a while it wandered ashore.

Apart from 6 Dartfords, 3 Robins and a Wren the heath out from Springdale was very quiet late this morning .I was hoping to catch some birds bathing in the pond but no takers while I was there.

It's been good to see Blackbirds enjoying the holly berries in my garden again as last year pigeons cleared both trees by the end of Sept. Hoping for Redwings now. Distant and on very dull day

This Robin made me jump as I was putting sunflower hearts on the post they like at Soldiers Road. It came out of nowhere and almost brushed my hand😅
