This short novel takes care of all its (scary, funny, poignant) business likety-split, as if @Shteyngart knows we're too distracted by current BS to slog through a thick-ass book.

@Noahpinion In @Shteyngart's new novel 'vera, or faith', one of the main plot points is a bill giving 'grade A' americans 5/3rds of a vote over more recent immigrants. Fair to say this too will be the republican position in 10 years
