What speed do you think is appropriate on Shirley High Street and Hill Lane in #Southampton?

Tomorrow (Sunday 14th April) temporary road closures will be in place for the Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan procession route. The route will start in St Mary's, following The Avenue to Lodge Road and Bevois Valley, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, please plan your journeys. @SouthamptonCC

Can't help but feel a bit defensive about our great city here, particularly on culture, music & art. But hit the nail on the head regarding the joined-upness (a tram would help the visitor flow / navigation) & access to the water (at least in the west, there's lots in the east!)

As consumers it's worth noting the dates too, as they may affect the availability or price of goods available and we may need to be patient as local businesses navigate the new rules.
