I can’t be the only one who remembers this stuff, but yeah the only representation of Chechens in Western media was ‘insane jihadists who kill schoolchildren for no good reason’ or much later, “look at the bizarre dictator of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov”.

The ‘West cared about Chechens’ stuff is also weird because in Western media until quite recently, Chechens were portrayed as barbaric jihadists par excellence and were almost universally demonised.
They did that with the West’s blessings. Clinton likened it to the American Civil War and sided with Yeltsin. As did the European Union with Helmut Kohl being one of Yeltsin’s loudest defenders. Killing Muslims was never seen as an issue re: Western integration.

On the whole these are very good, and clearly inspired by the constitutional demands put forward by @DemSocsYP.; there are some slight differences, and we would disagree with the Treasurer being elected by plebiscite, but other than that these are great.

Whether Hamas stays or doesn’t is up to the Palestinian people. Same with Khalil’s favoured PA/Fatah. The role of people in the West is to oppose what the West is complicit in. And this Labourite has attacked protests lol, so this is as insincere as it gets.
Wish more people understood this. The Palestinians need to be free of the Israelis, Hamas and anyone else who oppresses them.
