The funny thing about FWA is that for a con with 15,000 attendees, apart from the well-contained bathroom fire it was a relatively uneventful con. All the apparent bad stuff that happened I only heard about on Twitter from folks who didn't go.

I think people romanticize the idea of working from home too much. Having a lack of clear separation between work and home leads to time blurring between the two and more distractions. The ideal situation is a hybrid option imo.

Unpopular opinion, but I think we should give the TFF hotel another chance. They're coming out of a pandemic and hosting an event with hot "costumes" is probably new to them. If they can improve the air conditioning and elevators for 2023, it would probably fix most complaints.
