Well that was hell but I quite enjoyed it. Had stomach cramps from 10 miles and then my groin went. Still knocked 11 minutes off my time for a new PB. Will probably go again. Nice to have my parents there at the end.

Was down in Dublin City today for an audition. Don’t usually share things like this and a lot of people don’t even know I’m Alcoholic. I’m 438 days sober today. Every street corner reminds me of old haunts. Being in Dublin gives me the goo something terrible.

First time in a theatre since before lockdown. I’m at TLT Drogheda to give blood. Even though the venue’s set up as a blood transfusion clinic it still has that bang of magic you get from a space. Theatres are special places. Can’t wait for them to reopen.

Had an audition today. I do them all the time. What was nice about this was I was in the actual room. It’s been awhile since I’d auditioned that wasn’t a self tape or zoom. The audition was also 45 minutes long. Really nice to get a good go at character development.
