The answer is Nadia Boulanger. As well as being sister Lili's greatest musical & personal supporter, Nadia taught Quincy Jones composition in the 1950s, giving him some treasured advice:.“Your music will never be more or less than you are a human being” (Nadia Boulanger, 1957).
