Today we stopped a hare hunt in front of North Yorkshire prep school pupils. The Catterick Beagles met at Aylesbury School and pupils were taken along by their teacher to watch the bloodsport in action.

Today the Dove Valley Mink Hounds spotted our drone above them, while hunting the River Dove, and immediately turned and ran back to their meet, with field sabs in hot pursuit. Sab vehicles then followed the hound van back to their kennels. Game over.

The G&R huntsman spent yesterday drawing various patches of scrub and woodlands, openly looking for foxes to kill. We saw a beautiful young fox escape out of a woodland near Haxey that the hounds were working through. We covered the scent line and ensured they got away unharmed.
