Washington State, and UCLA were both ranked in the teens at one point... who gives a shit…And Washington’s offense was denied the end zone the entire game. We need the defense to come out with their hair on fire, and the offense to execute one play at a time for 4 quarters! 🔱

I get asked often from HS parents about the ranking and stars process… My only answer is both parents and the athlete have to be 110% committed to seeking and competing in the most elite camps and showcases with the best competition in the entire country. Analyst do the rest.

Best Coach on the Pittsburg High School Staff during our 3 years there and was instrumental in Jadens development in HS. Great knowledge of the QB position and really took the time to cultivate Jaden between the ears with all the noise around him. Thank you Juan!

IMO: They had the most generous defense we faced all season and were as advertised statistically. Offensive line may have been the least efficient we faced as well and as advertised statistically. Game had a 7on7 feel and Explosive play ability was the difference in the end..

This is the best time of the season… every team is improving mid year with scheme, execution, and timing… the separation is in talent, coaching, injuries, and depth. Everyone knows who everyone is at this point…

Homecoming presents a defense whose performance has ranked at the bottom levels of the conference… should be a great day offensively for us. Another game like Colorado with a 7on7 feel that will allow our defensive pressure to impact their impressive 3rd down efficiency.

Completion percentage is far less relevant when your average yards per throw are significantly lower… anyone can throw screens and check-downs. Explosives and that 1K on the ground is the silencer. Daniels for Heisman..

QB comps are over sensationalized by media but I get it, most QBs are not “running from competition” when they transfer in from other programs or out from one for that matter. I see more seeking offensive fits and opportunities to develop, or in some cases just new beginnings.

Perhaps the most difficult and least talked about aspect of a new coaching staff in todays Portal era of college football is that of the coordinator. Defensive schemes, play calling and effective utilization and positioning of player personnel are vital factors in team success.

Deboer is the best coach for the Bama Job. He restored a program back to national prominence in two seasons while infusing a genuine culture and displaying elite schematics and leadership. His resume and body of work on the grass is championship decorated.

PAC 12 ship showcased two QBs with elite pass protection and surrounding weapons. Jayden Daniels is still my favorite for the Heisman. His dual threat performance in a trench heavy league is the difference, and I don’t think anybody in the country made it look easier.

The pass protection this guy has is elite… this will be the most impactful aspect of slowing that offense down and affecting the outcome of this game… the pass rush.
Their pass coverage on the other hand is definitely exploitable and I suspect we move the ball well.
