I am devastated to share that the love of my life, Gizmo, has passed away at the age of 17. We shared so many memories and storm chasing adventures together especially over the last 15 years. Gizmo chased over 200 tornadoes, category 5 hurricanes, and loved me unconditionally

2 days ago my forecasted high for today was 84, it had to be adjusted down to 78 because of the smoke. the smoke is interesting. I had to put a long sleeve shirt on fishing at 7pm when I'm normally shirtless still.

Fun fact. Last night fishing on my boat, the Sunset at 744pm because of the wildfire smoke. normal Sunset was 824pm.

August 23 rd 1998 i got hit 4 times by severe thunderstorms in one night. Caused the biggest salmon run in salmon river history. We had a derecho on july 4 th that flooded the salmon river to 8000cfs then this derecho,Then the labor day derecho and another one in early September
