2025 was my best plains season for sunset and twilight shots.

Monster storm is over. Winds gusted over 50 mph last night breaking trees. Waves on lake Ontario hit 15 feet and rain totals ended up around 3.9 inches. 4 inch rain storms are rare, this was a drought breaker. North branch crested over 2400, total inflow 5000cfs to the reservoir.

When I look back at 2025. 4 storms get shown and re shown off my phone to my guests at my fishing lodge over and over and over. Nara visa NM.. Kit Karson Colorado ... wellfleet Nebraska and Miami texas.

I have to work this time of year, so can't be out late, but this is what was going on last night while i slept.
At 1am this morning, the northern lights erupted with a jaw-dropping display over the Range Lighthouse where the Saugeen River meets Lake Huron in Southampton, Ontario. #northernlights #Auroraborealis
