7. Risk factors for mortality among Fontan patients: Waitlist : being in-hospital, mechanical ventilation, ECMO, renal dysfunction , urgent listing Post-HT: ECMO, Black race , older donor, renal dysfunction.

6. Patients with a Fontan circulation with elevated PRA (>10%) are at higher risk of experiencing rejection.

5. Patients with Fontan circulation are also more likely than cardiomyopathy patients to experience infection and malignancy.

4. Post-HT survival for Fontan patients has improved overall, they continue to experience increased mortality compared to patients with CMP. Patients with a Fontan circulation undergoing HT are 2x as likely to die compared to CMP patients.

3. Waitlist survival for patients with a Fontan circulation has improved and is currently ∼90%. No different than those with non-Fontan CHD or cardiomyopathy.

2. Fontan patients are 6 times less likely than cardiomyopathy patients to undergo VAD implant! However, VAD supported Fontan patients have outcomes similar to non-VAD supported patients and significantly higher than those supported on ECMO.

1. There has been a rise in the number of patients with Fontan circulation listed for HT and they represent the most common cohort of CHD currently listed for HT.
