Can’t forget that in SS3, I told my literature teacher I was sick and couldn’t take the 6strokes of cane and he told me he’d double it next class but died during the weekend 💀
I don’t think I can ever live in the US. The amount of amazing things Sweden offers from free healthcare to free education to 1yr paid maternity leave to being a feminist and pro women country is the life I love! Life is so simple and calm here ❤️
Can someone please open a mini cinema at Murtala Mohammed so that when your parents force you to leave home 6hrs earlier or trying to avoid mad Lagos traffic .You can be at the airport and still chill.

The taxes are high but at least you reap the benefit in so many other forms like healthcare and education. I don’t know what benefits they get in the US even with the taxes they pay.

Tbh, 75% of people speak English here and if you’re working with an international company (which Sweden has a lot of) then you don’t even need to know the language.
People don’t know how to respect other people’s opinion. I said I can’t live in the US or is it by force. I started the tweet with “I”, I was speaking for myself. Leave me alone!
My favorite way to cook my beans is to fry the pepper mix in palm oil separately with smoked fish and crayfish before adding it into the plain beans. A game changer!

I agree, that’s why I said I haven’t experienced it verbally or physically. But I can never say it’s completely racism free. Also I’ll choose calm Swedes over aggressive racists who might shoot me in the US😅😅
Imagine your only argument being but you can earn more in the US. God forbid an unexpected medical issue or you having kids that need to go to Uni. What about the gun laws? Only money money money
My son’s school is going to serve Jollof Rice on October 2nd in honour of Nigeria’s Independence being October 1st. He’s the only black & Nigerian kid and this is so thoughtful 🤍🇳🇬🇸🇪

lives in Gothenburg and I’m sure together we can help you settle in even better! Welcome to Sweden ❤️
I was walking today and saw peoples closed windows and figured they were gone to spend the holiday with family. It made me cry because I miss my siblings and my mum so much. I hate that everyone is scattered around the world 💔
I hate that my siblings and I are all in different continents and our kids will mostly bond over FaceTime & WhatsApp calls. I really wish things were better in Nigeria.
I was never afraid of death till i had kids. No one can take care of my children like i do. I pray i live long in good health to raise them . Amen 🙏🏽🫶🏾

I’d recommend applying for roles that match your background through LinkedIn especially if it’s IT related. Also, education is a good option to explore and you can check for scholarship options.
