In my opinion, ADD the budget for Social Development and Poverty Reduction Programme: N539.31bn to that of Agriculture: N644.45bn AND setup a "real" and "effective" monitoring. We will have more effective Poverty reduction that way.

I have been on both ends of this. The first time, Paystack needs to change the size of the payment reference. Lucky for me, the original Engrs stored the reference in a single table and use internal reference. So we added a new column, started writing to it and then backfill.
Somewhere out there is a company about to have their first big incident this holiday season because they use 32-bit int primary keys and I’m very excited for them.

I was building a chat app. One of the challenges was client A on a stable internet connection and client B is not. Websocket gets reset a lot and mares the experience. I got better results with SSE under the same internet and server conditions.

I embraced server-side event on a project after websocket reminded me how unstable and unreliable the connection can be. Especially with lean server resources.
A web technology that feels very under-utilized: server-side events for pushing data from the server to the browser. Much less resource intensive than websockets. And yet, many devs reach for websockets when they do not need two-way streaming!.

I have seen this work for persistent out of memory challenges too. Restart at a schedule and boom everyone can enjoy their weekend 😀.
they won't tell you this in SRE school but the easiest way to fix a memory leak is to restart your pods on a schedule
