This is true. I was asked to recuse myself from the vote by two members of EB- which is unprecedented- and avoiding an ugly, nonsensical, and tribalistic floor fight by choosing to reprimand instead of censure- is also failing Sens. Cavanaugh and Dungan.
Sen. Julie Slama of Dunbar, who co-sponsored a resolution to censure Sen. Steve Halloran and the only woman on the Executive Board, said she was asked to recuse herself from other members.
