For the sake of humor, Zero has two different Star KO cries, in which either has a 50/50 chance of playing. The default is something you'd expect to hear. However, his alternate cry is his (in)famous "What am I fighting for!?" line from X4, except with his current voice actor.

Playing a couple of online races, it feels like it's back to the 1-in-3 picks are 3-lap from a few patches ago.
[Mario Kart World] Version 1.3.0 was released. You can now play Knockout Tour with friends online. The frequency of 3 lap races online has also been further increased. In addition, the location of P-Switches and Peach Medallions now displays on the map in Free Roam.

I started making new scene layouts tonight to play around with. It's something more stylized than what I've been using. I might still workshop it to add a place for on screen chat, socials, and maybe the clock overlay I've been using to match what I've had before.
