That of course sucks and we should pray for his soul. However, acting like a middle aged Facebook mom from July of 2020 is idiotic and weak. It would actually be better to stay silent than cry about how ICE agents shot "an unarmed man" like he was just going to the grocery store.

I honestly don't think, being able to look at it in slow-motion and from multiple angles, that the agitator was trying to kill anyone. I think he was a diluted moron who chose to bring a gun to an encounter with ICE and died because of it.

There's no training for minor epistemological uncertainty during a violent and likely life-threatening altercation, in which the existence of a gun has been confirmed. The shoot was justified because they reasonably thought that the agitator was attacking them with lethal force.

All 5 agents were thinking something like this. So if one guy hears or thinks he hears a call out from another agent, he's gonna go and then they're all gonna go. The agitator's allies probably helped get him killed by blowing those whistles throughout the grapple.

Figuring out which type of threat the gun was seems to be what got the agitator shot. Imagine you're an ICE agent in this situation. I would think: 1. He's fighting me 2. He has a gun 3. I'll need to shoot him fast if he goes for it 4. Someone else might see him reach before me

The 2A doesn't make a gun non-threatening. The 2A generally makes your gun a passive but legal threat. When you defend your home against an invader, it becomes an active but legal threat. When you fight ICE agents with a gun on you, it could be either.

Having viewed several angles of this shooting, as someone who is extremely pro-2A, I genuinely cannot understand what the justification could be. Considering it’s legal to carry a weapon in Minnesota, simply having one on you is not an excuse for law enforcement to use lethal
